Moore Family Law, P.C. Names Latest Winner of $1,000 Leadership Excellence Scholarship for 2026

Moore Family Law, P.C. is proud to announce that Alexander Koennecke has been selected as the Fall 2026 winner of the firm’s Leadership Excellence Scholarship. Attorney Philip Moore has built his practice on the values of honesty, hard work, and integrity. Through the Leadership Excellence Scholarship, the firm honors students who have embodied those same qualities in their own lives. After reviewing this semester’s applications, the firm chose Alexander, a graduating senior at the University of Houston.

The Leadership Excellence Scholarship recognizes driven students who have taken on leadership roles and worked to become better leaders along the way. Alexander has shown that drive as an active member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and as President of the Interfraternity Council. Leading a council that represents many chapters calls for patience, good judgment, and a willingness to put the needs of others first. Alexander’s commitment to that role is exactly the dedication that Moore Family Law, P.C. seeks to recognize with the Leadership Excellence Scholarship.

The Leadership Excellence Scholarship awards $1,000 to one student each semester. Applicants must be current or future members of their university’s Greek life or honors program, and they must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their most recently completed semester.
